Cool Washer tube won't move or spin/loud sound/ maybe motor?
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: lsr7233hz0
Age: 5 - 10 years

Water fills washer just fine-tub does not move (agitate) on wash cycle and does not rotate on spin.Makes a loud continous sound when not moving. could this be a bad drive motor?

You probably have a bad coupler. Remove outer shell, pull off pump from motor and remove motor. You will see the coupler there. Is it bad.
