Default Washer tub won't maintain center
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LA9680W
Age: More than 10 years

When water begins fill, tub is off-center, so water flows in and out of tub. Machine is level. If I pull tub to center it, it will not stay.

Hi. I think there was a recent post on here with a similar symptom to yours. There are springs at the bottom of the washer that keep it stable. If you tilt the machine back against a wall you can check them with a flashlight. One may have slipped off or possibly broken.
