I'm trying to take tub out of the washer to replace the transmission but I'm not having any luck. How do I keep the tub from turning while trying to break the bolts in the bottom loose. This info and any other things I may need to be aware of would be appreciated.

Have some hold the tub still while you remove the bolts.
