Please disregard original question--problem resolved. Now, how do I get the spin bearing assembly off the transmission shaft?

This is a sleeve bearing. Look for the groove in the tranny and stick a cold chisel and pound upward. Sleeve bearing should split.

i changed my bearing assembly and mechanical tub seal last week.if the chisel doesnt work-i put a cut-off wheel on my 4" disc grinder and made a vetical cut then split the bearing.it came right off
