Question Washer trips ground fault outlet
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.26922502
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hello
I have a Kenmore elite top loader that is 15 mos old and for about a month it has been tripping the ground fault outlet. I replaced the outlet with a new ground fault and it still trips. The circuit is dedicated just for the washer and it is a 20amp breaker, #12 wire and a 20amp outlet. I have a seperate ground fault circuit in the laundry room so I plugged it in that one and it trips also.
I'm told by sears that this is out of warranty. If i keep reseting it eventually gets past the point were it will finish without tripping,
Any help will be appreciated.

Today I move the washer out and discover a floor covered in oil!
Looks like I need a new washer! I guess I should expect this after all it is almost a year and a half old! Oh I wish I had my old whirlpool "Imperial Seventys" back.
Had them seventeen years with one belt change!
