Unhappy Washer Stops at spin cycles
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MAT4000AWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

My maytag neptune timer moves to the first rinse cycle, drains and fills and aggitates and then stops. It turns off. I turn it back on and move the timer and it spins and goest to second rinse cycle and does the same thing. If I catch it before it stops and manually move the timer it goes through the cycle satisfactorily and then goes to the next rinse cycle.
I bought a new timer and installed it, it drains and runs all of the rinses and stuff correctly but still sticks on the first and second rinse cycles.
Any ideas?
HELP
My wife is really bothered by this and it makes doing the laundry almost an around the clock full time job for the weekends.
