The washer stopped after filling with water. Now the unit acts "dead." Changing the timer to different positions does nothing. It is sitting filled with water. I check the plug, it is hot. Nothing happens with any timer setting change. Is this a timer problem or something else? Thanks

Check for a stuck lid switch and blown fuse in the lid switch.

The stuck switch would have cause a short circuit causing the fuse to blow.
