Default Washer sounds like airplane only in spin cycle
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: WCXR1070TAAA
Age: 5 - 10 years

My washer works perfectly fine, however, during the spin cycle we all have to evacuate the house because of the horrendously lound sound it makes during spin cycle. We have opened it up, taking out the spin basket, tub etc. and everything appears good. No leaks, no broken belts, and everything that should move freely does. Do we need a new tub bearing, or maybe a transmission/brake assembly? Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Jessie

It is likely the tub bearing that is causing the noise.

Here is a link to your washer model WCXR1070TAAA.
