Unhappy Washer runs then stops then runs
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.92581210
Age: More than 10 years

Kenmore Washing Machine, model: 110.92581210.
Washer is about 13yrs. old with no trouble until now. It will start to wash then it will stop for 1 min. sometimes 5 min. then just starts back up. Sometimes it will run the hole cyc., sometimes it will do it 2 or 3 times in a cyc. . It will also do it in the spin cyc. . ? Thanks for any help you can give, Ted.

It sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere.

This might be hard to find.

Start by checking all the harness connection in the console.

You will need to pull motor and check centrifical switch for burnt connector wires. Also check the windings for a burnt start winding; also check for lateral play in the motor bushings.
