Default Washer Repair
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 11091566210

I am having a problem with agitation on my Kenmore 110.91566210. My agitator has two parts. (Dual Action Agitator)The top half is loose and can be manually turned/spun when the washer is agitating. The bottom agitator appears to be working. The washer drains and spins. I have removed the fabric softener dispenser but don't know what I can do next. That's my most critical problem.

Another problem is that the washer is filling very slow when cold water is selected. Takes about an hour to fill up. It is much faster when I choose warm. I can live with this but not the agitating problem.

You will need a set of agitator paws to fix it. Refer to the parts assembly info at partselect for take apart info.
You probably have sand partially blocking the screen in your water valve.

Default Kenmore 11091566210

Do I need the Cam-Driven(Agitator Repair Kit)? PartSelect #: PS334622

I couldn't find "paws" just "ears" and "dogs". Also, I can't find diagrams on taking the agitator apart.

Thanks for the help.

Just step on the agitator bottom and yank up on the top section.

Default Washer Repair

What??? Get inside the washer and step on the agitator bottom then pull up to remove the top portion?
Is there any diagrams available? I'm a computer support person and can read a manual but don't know much about fixing washers but I think I can either handle it or make my husband do the heavy lifting parts. I want to make sure I get the right parts etc.

I was able to fix my washer using Dog agits. It works great now and I don't have to buy a new washer yet. Thanks to the Volunteer for helping me. Now I just have to figure out the water issue. I looked on the back and felt the screen but didn't take it apart yet to see if there is anything blocking it from the other side.
