Default Washer - Pump Clogged again :/
Brand: Frigidaire
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hello...

I have been working on my mothers' washing machine for a bit now. Somehow she keeps getting socks stuck in the pump. The washer worked well for a few years and now I have had to clear the pump 3 times in the last 2 months. What I am wondering is if there is a screen that stops socks from being sucked into the pump?
Any info would be helpful... Thanks

Model Type Frid. Model FWX445RFS3

Usually when the washer is used with a very large water level, socks will go over the rim of basket. Check if water level is too high. Also, you can just instruct to use only 3/4 fill levels.
