Default Washer programs
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LSC8244BNO
Age: More than 10 years

This washer has been great, not one bit of trouble in over 10 years. Now though it is stopping in between cycles. Sometimes it is between wash and rinse, sometimes between rinse and spin. I can make each function work independently and manually but I can't leave the washer alone and expect it to go all the way through a wash cycle. Any suggestions?

What do you do to make the washer continue through the cycle?

If you are just moving the timer knob a little you will have to replace the timer.

Here is a link to your washer model LSC8244BNO.

I had a similar problem with my washer. If you push down on the lid while it is stopped, does it start back up? If so, replace the door switch. $25.00

just replace the timer, and your problems will be solved.
