Default Washer problems
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: lse1000
Age: 5 - 10 years

I am having trouble with my washer. Unsure of age as it was furnished with my home. It is a Maytag stackable with model #LSE1000 or 745G. The washer will fill up, however, will not agitate or drain. I have manually drained the tub twice and watched the panel. It appears it is trying to do something,(humming noice) but it will only fill with water. It won't go thru the drain or spin cycle and will not agitate during wash. What to do?

It sounds like you have a faulty switch or stuck switch.

Check the off balance switch and the locking switch.

Here is a link to your washer/dryer model lse1000.
