Default Washer problem,need help
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FWS747RFS1
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi all,
This is my first post here so bear with me. I have a Frigidaire Limited Edition/12 cycle-Heavy Duty-2 Speed.......
I load washer and set to start position. Pull the timer and it fills the bucket and starts the wash cycle. Seems Ok right exept for one thing....it will not advance to the next cycle. It just continues washing the cloths until I manually bump it to the next cycle.
Is this something I can repair myself perhaps by tweeking the timer some how or is this a total timer replacement...
Any feedback would be appreciated...

Thanx,
ChrisK

I usually check the little timer motor for continuity. If ok there, I test for voltage to it.
If no voltage, I spray timer with non-residue spray and turn a few times, usually fixes it.
If not=new timer time.
