Question Washer Problem!!!
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FWX223LBS5
Age: 5 - 10 years

My washing machine (Frigidare FWX223LBS5 ) stops and starts itself during the rinse/final spin phase. It washed fine, but kept cutting on and off during the final rinse/spin. I let it go for several hours because the drum was full of water and very wet clothes. It finally finished, but I guess it needs some attention! HELP!

Hi,

Check the lid switch.
Does it small like it's getting hot?

Thanks for the quick reply. Washer does not smell like it is getting hot. Went to partsselect.com and sears.com, can not find "lidswitch", found "lid lock assembly", but I'm not sure if this is the same thing. Do you know?
