Default Washer Problem
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.82870120
Age: More than 10 years

My washer does the following: It will start washing from any of the Normal, heavy, etc cycles, then washes. It will drain and fill back up and start the rinse cycle. This is where she stops, we'll does not stop just keeps on running in the rinse cycle forever. You can move the knob by hand and walk it throught the rest of the cycles. Any suggestions? A Timer issue?

This does sound like a timer problem.

Here is a link to the parts for your washer model 110.82870120.
