Default Washer Never Stops
Brand: Amana
Model Number: lW7503W2
Age: More than 10 years

Our clothes are super clean! When we start a load about 95% of the time it goes right on to the next cycle (Permanent Press/Knits) and the next (Delicate). If we are not right there to push the knob in after the spin cycle stops. My best guess is the timer, but before I order it I wanted to see if anyone else has another idea. I don't want to replace a timer if it isn't needed.

I think that sounds like a timer problem, but it does not seem like a very common symptom. What model washer is it?

Default Exact Same Issue

My Amana LW8303W2 has just started doing the same thing.

Did a time replacement work?
