My washing machine is making a loud squealing sound during the spin cycle. Any Ideas of what the problem is? I think this is a direct drive unit, I need to check.

You washer is a direct drive.

Can you pin point the area that the squealing is coming from?

Is it a scraping sound in side the drum?
