Default Washer Lid won't stay closed
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: SE1000
Age: More than 10 years
I am unable to find a latch hook (part number 215254), It is a small hook shaped plastic part that signals that the washer lid is closed. The old one is worn and, once the lid vibrates loose it shuts the washer off. Everything I can find says the part is no longer available. What do I do?
