Default Washer leaking at transmission

Model Number: LW2903L
Age: More than 10 years

Iam having problems removing the transmission from the tub. The knob that holds the aggitator on will not come off tried everything . I am thinking there is a trick to it or maybe its stuck or does not have to come off I could sure use some help been at it for 2 days now thanks in advance

Once you have the 7/16 bolt out of the drive bell all you do is pry it off the transmission shaft.

The drive bell is the part the agitator sits on.

Can you please provide your full model number with the manufactures number and the serial number?
