Default Washer leaking after final spin
Brand: White-Westinghouse
Model Number: la800axw1
Age: 5 - 10 years

My washing machine is leaking water after the final spin cycle. I have removed the front panel and it is coming from the pump. Does this mean my pump is shot or could it be the drain check valve allowing water back through? It is draining all of the water out of the tub and the amount appears to be about the amount that would be left over in the drain line. My drain is a few inches above the top of the machine. Thanks for any help you can give.
OK>I have determined it is the pump. Where can I get a repair manual to aid in the replacement of the pump?

To remove the pump release the clip holding the pump to the mounting plate.

Disconnect the hoses. Make sure that you have a bucket to catch the water that will be in the pump.

Here is a link to your washer model la800axw1.

Here is the pump.
