Default Washer leaking
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LAT9416AAE
Age: 5 - 10 years

I Already Know The Washer Is Leaking From Either The Tub Bearing Or The Mounting Stem Seal, Or Boot Seal. I Need To Know How Difficult Will It Be For A Fairly Handy Homeowner To Replace These Parts. Are There Special Tools For This Job? Thanks

You should be able to do the repair.

There is one special tool for removing the tub nut but the job can be done without it.

Here is the link to your washer model LAT9416AAE.
