Unhappy Washer Leak
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: GLEH1642DS1
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi. I wanted to see if anyone could help me?? We have a stackable washer and dryer. It is a Frigidaire model-GLEH1642DS1. We have owned the unit for just over 2 years. Of course our warranty just ran out and we have not had any problems until now! Well the washer part of the unit is leaking. The leak is coming from underneath the machine. I put my hand underneath and it feels like there is a small hole that is supposed to be there but maybe a plug has come loose?? The hole is about the size of a dime maybe smaller. Does anyone have any idea if this is an easy fix something my husband or I can do or do I need to call for a repair? Thanks for any help it is greatly appreciated....mdgreen921@aol.com

It could be the pump that is leaking.

You will have to take the washer apart to find out what is leaking.

Here is a link to your washer model GLEH1642DS1.

sounds like the pump needs replacing - water leaks out of a port in the pump when it fails for some reason
