Brand: Maytag
Model Number: mah5500bww
Age: 5 - 10 years

washer fills, then shows Lr. found motor control ckt bd 10 amp fuse
blown, ic unit fried plus resistors , diode fried.
need to buy ckt board 22004488. unplugged jp4 connector from ckt board.
put one probe of oam meter to motor casing the other probe to each pin of jp4
connector, showed no continuity. assuming motor is still good.
is there anything else i should check before replacing ckt board and powering it up??? heeelp.

To check the motor there should be 2 to 3 ohms resistance on all three winding.

To check the windings go between blue and black then white and red and then orange and yellow.

If they all have 2 to 3 ohms then the motor is good and all you should have to replace it the board.

resistance between blue black ...1.3 oams
do i have to disconnect the blue and black from the ckt board to get a goodreading???

sheila never mind i answered my own question . with wires disconnected
i get 2.2 oams on all three windings... motor good, yeaaa
