I put in 3 2 x 3 area rugs in the washer, left home, came back, washer will start spin and then it goes out of balance? Someone suggested that there is a ring of water at the top and this is out of line? Not sure.l Help!

A 2x3 rug is out of ballance!! Try loading a ballanced load,ie. add a heavy towell accross from the rug. If you put something on one side of a washer, without something on the oppisite side of the rug it will be out of ballance.If the rugs all end up on one side they will make it out of ballance also. Do you normally wash rugs in a clothes washer?

The water in the ballance ring seldom leaks out,but the floating trangle plate can get out of alignment and shake violently! then you have to lift up the tub and set it back down till you acheve proper alignment.This usually happens when someone lays washer on it's back and the ballance system slips out of place
