Washer fills water washes, then refills again

Default Washer fills water washes, then refills again
Brand: Tappan
Age: 5 - 10 years
My washing machine will fill with water and I know it's not over loaded with clothes. It'll wash for about 1-2 min. then stop to refill with water again. This will keep going on throughout the cycle.

Check to make sure that the drain house is a high as the back of the washer.

It sound like the washer may be siphoning out.

Can you please supply your model number?
