Unhappy Washer fills up like a small load no matter what size is selected.
Brand: Sears
Age: 5 - 10 years

My washer has been doing this for several weeks now. It has plenty of water pressure and fills up fast but it only fills up half way. It acts like the small load is selected no matter what setting I have it on. After it has stopped filling up it automatically goes to the spin cycle like it is supposed to but if I start it at "small" and once it starts the spin cycle, I switch it over to large and it still doesn't fill any more. Same happens if I start on "large". Thanks for any advice.

This sound like your water level switch is faulty.

Can you please provide me with your model number.
