Angry Washer fills and empties but will not agitate or spin

My ge washer fills and empties but will not agitate or spin.I did move things around a little looking for the problem and it worked again for 3 loads and then stated not spinning and agitateing again.Not sure if its the clutch I need to replace if so how to remove this one, or please what do I replace.

Hi... I don't know your washer, but this washer fault is usually caused by the capacitor (A big metallic thing) usually at the back of the washer, next to mains wire opening. Replace it with a typical one would, usually, solve the problem. In your case, may be unplug and then replug its wires would solve the problem. Or perhaps the its plugs might be lose, just hammer them a little pit. If you would replace the capacitor disconnect the washer from mains, leave it for some time and discharge any thing left in the capacitor first. Discharge it through connecting its ends using a metal thing (make sure you don't connect it to your self). Good luck.
