Machine will not start. Error code F dl comes on console. Have checked door lock and it is working properly. Have manually locked door. Clicking sound can be heard from motor control module.
If this is a front loader, and a whirlpool, you will need the main control board. If you want to replace it, its is real easy. There are three screws that hold the top on, and they are located at the back. Remove the top, and in the middle of the back of the washer, you will see, a white control board, with alot of wiring coming to it. You really can't mess this up.
