Default Washer does nothing
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FEX831cs0
Age: 5 - 10 years

Stack on washer and dryer. Washer appeared to not finish the rinse cycle with a small amount of water in the tub still. Now it will not do anything. Smell of burning almost, like electrical. Just wondering if I should jump right into a motor. Going to check the selector switch and hope for the best. Doesnt sound like the motor is spinning at all

Any info would help alot.

Remove the front panel of the washer and check the motor and belt.

Here is a link to your washer and dryer model FEX831cs0.
