Default Washer cycle stops mid cycle
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: lsq8000jq0
Age: 5 - 10 years
washer stops in mid cycle and control dial does has to be turned on and off to get cycle to complete. occurs on various settings, any ideas? thankls

It sounds like bad contact in the timer.

Without turning the timer off just wiggle the knob and see if it will start back up.
