Default Washer - constant drain
Brand: Amana
Model Number: TAA500W, P7704003WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Recently moved. Water into tub constant drain out. Drain stops when machine is shut off. Does not drain with water in at full pressure. Removed tube at pressure switch and blew in it. Seems like good air flow from switch into tub.

Check the height of the stand pipe.

It must be be as high as the cabinet top or the washer will siphon itself out.

The pressure switch shut the incoming water off when the selected level is reached.

It has nothing to do with the water draining.

You are right on. I figured it out last night.

Thank you so much for the response.
