Question Washer broken help
Brand: General Electric
Age: 5 - 10 years

my washer fills with water and the control panel lights up but it will not go through any of the cycles . nor will it drain the water out . what could be the problem. i need the control assembly to match the control panel assy for item nnumber wh42x10203. thank you

Can you please provide your model number?

It will be on a tag with the serial number.

It could be the control but check the connection to the control and make sure they are tight.

So the motor never runs? If not, you may have a bad motor. Check per. scematic for voltage to it, if none, the control is bad.
