Washer belt loose -- no tension on motor
Brand:
Maytag
Model Number:
MAV5000AWG
Age:
5 - 10 years
Is there a tension spring on the washer motor? If not what keeps the belt tight? All works but the motor will not keep the belt in tension
thx

Pull front panel and look at the motor mounts, they are on small wheels, you will need to spray these with wd-40 to free up.
