Question Washer
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: A112
Age: Please select

Help! I have a washer that turns on, fills w/water, drains the water, but the agitator doesn't spin at all. How I found out? I smelt burnt rubber. I check the belt and it's all there. So, I don't know what else! Anyone?

There are two belts on your washer.

One goes from the motor to the pump and the other from the motor to the transmission.

Remove the two screws at the bottom of the front panel and take the front panel off.

Tip the washer back and you will see the other belt.

Here is a link to your washer model A112.
