Default Washer
Brand: Maytag
Age: 5 - 10 years

My daughter has an old Maytag washer. I am not sure of the age or model at this time. I just wanted to ask ask a question to see if it is even fixable and we can do it. The machine filled with water but then continued to agitage and did not move on to the next cycle. She would have to move the dial herself. Then it would not rinse so she moved it to spin out the water. Could this be something as simple as the dial? If so I can get the model number and try to find the part.

You will need to replace the timer.

The model number is located on a tag on the top of the console.
