Angry Wash cycle wont activate
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: WVSR1060A1WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

My washing machine would not cycle to the next cycle. I replaced the timer switch and that took care of that. Now after the water fills the tub up it cycles to the wash cycle and just stops. The washer wont aggitate at all. I can cycle to the spin and rinse cycle and occasionally it will not spin unless i force it to move...once i move it then it spins. My drive belt is worn and starting to rub off. Now I am replacing that as well. Please assist in my frustration so i can wash my newborns clothes without going across the town.

Thanks in Advance,

Aaron aka "Ugh this sux in Ohio"

When it stops can you still hear the motor running?

Check the lid switch to see if it is making contact, you should be able to hear it click when you raise and lower the lid.

Here is a link to your washer model WVSR1060A1WW.
