Default Waher won't spin
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LBT6233DQO
Age: 5 - 10 years

My washer is not new but I realy can't afford to replace it before Christmas, so here I am. Anyway My waser will do everthing untill it is time to spin then it just stops and makes a grinding sound but it still is draining out the water. I looked underneath and there seems to be a loose belt but I don't know where it goes. Can any one help.
Thanks

There is no belt on your washer.

Did you find any piece on the floor when you looked under the washer?

You may have a broken coupler.

The coupler is a piece that goes between the motor and transmission.

Check the lid switch.

If the lid switch is bad the washer will not spin.

Here is a link to your washer model LBT6233DQ0.

Here is what the couple will look like. The part number is PS1485646.
