Default Wa to noisy - rattling
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: SAV205DAWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

I just replaced the water pump (bottom front of the washer) and now it is very noisy and rattles. It looks like possible a belt guide right behind the pump may be damaged but I can get my manual to load or find a schematic to see how its supposed to be set up.

Does anyone have any ideas? Before the replacement of the pump the only issue was a leak from the pump.

Thanks

David

Here is a link to the breakdown of your washer model SAV205DAWW.

What is rattling?

Is it the idler pulley or the front panel of the washer?

Default Idler Pulley

Yes - after closer examination I think it is. There is a nick in the edge of the pulley. Is this difficult to replace?

Thanks
