Thank you bettyboop, I really appreciate all your help... How do I adjust the cam?, and where are the brakes located? I bought a brand new belt and put it on, and still it wont spin, the belt will slip, even when I pull on the motor...the problem is the basket, is very hard to turn by hand so I think there is something wrong with it. please excuse my poor knowledge.

Double check and make sure there is nothing between your inner and outer tub, this is one of many things that could cause your problem, look at your cam gear its plastic and could not be climing your worm gear to release the break, make sure the worm gear is clean, turn your pulley by hand does it climb the gear turn it the other way does it climb down ????????

I'm sorry misinterpretation... I don't think the problem is with the motor or anything related to it, the problem is the (basket or tumbler or tub) because when I turn it by hand is just to hard. I did check for something stuck but nothing. I see that there might be something wrong with the the gaskets but I'm not sure. I'm not even sure how to check it.

I'll put it in terms you'll understand. The parking brake is on, and if you reset the adjustment it will work fine again. this is not rocket science.
