Hi,
Our Hotpoint Aquarious Extra WD64 Washing Machine has the RED Light still on at end of Washing Program, unable to open door.
We had a fuse blow during a Washing Program this was fixed and washing Machine continued with Program but red light on at end of run, we have re-run program but still have red light on and unable to open door.
To save a lot of ear problems from Partner an answer to this problem would help a lot. at moment have fingers in ear's

To get the door of the washer opened remove the service panel below the door and reach behind and up the right side of the front panel and pull the release ring down,then open the door.

Do you know what cause the fuse to blow?

Was the fuse black in the center?

Can you please verify your model number?

Hi,
Thank you for your reply, the model No is WD 64.
The fuse is a trip type fuse in main fuse box, this will blow if a bulb dies.
Will now try to release door catch, will let you know.

Thank you for information on how to open door, machine now works o.k. Partner has put four loads of washing in and still working.
