Unhappy Timer will not advance to next cycle
Brand: Gibson
Model Number: GWT645RHS
Age: 5 - 10 years

Washer will not advance to next cycle. Replaced timer and still not working. Everything works fine, drains, spins, rinses, as long as you manually advance the washer to the next cycle. I don't know how much vibration the timer motor should make but I feel nothing when it is supposed to be "running".

Could it be the door solenoid? Door lock light illuminates when you begin a cycle.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

When you turn your washer on does the drum rotate both ways during the washer cycle?

Does it go clock wise for a minute and then counter clock wise or does it only go in one direction?

Here is a link to your washer model GWT645RHS.
