Default Timer problem?
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LAT9406AAE
Age: More than 10 years

Wash cycle runs normal for 10 seconds and the spin cycle will start. So the maching is agitating and the tub is spinning at the same time. Could this be a timer problem or possibly a brake problem?

This is a problem with the break.

Here is a link to your washer model LAT9406AAE.
