Default Timer knob won't select cycle/will operate on/off
Brand: Speed Queen
Model Number: AA4411W
Age: 5 - 10 years

The timer on this unit does operate thru the cycle, the knob just won't engage the timer to select the cycle. You must spin the timer by pushing on the knob skirt while rotating at the same time.I don't see how to remove the knob short of brute force pulling it off, that doesn't sound like the correct course of action.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please check your model number as I can not locate it in our database?

The model number should be on a tag with the serial number.

Default Knob won't work

My washer has already stuck in fill mode and flooded the laundry room. I have already purchased a new washer. Thanks anyway.

Default knob not working either

Hi,

I got the same issue on the same model washing machine.

I don't know why it isn't in the database, maybe because it is commercial grade?

Please see if you can find the part - he didn't mistype the model number.

If you drop the w the model will come up in PartSelect.

If the washer is over filling it is either the fill valve or the pressure switch.

If the water stops coming in when you shuts the washer off then it is the pressure switch.

If the water continues to come in when you shut it off it is the fill valve.

Here is a link to your washer model AA4411.
