Question Timer issues
Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: P002 ?
Age: 5 - 10 years

Won't automatically advance through cycles, would run forever on that cycle if I didn't manually advance it. Is this likely to be the timer assembly or could it be something else? Model is HW629MW119

Probably needs a timer.
Can you hear the timer motor running but it will not advance.

Your Model Number does not come up, here is some help on possible tag locations

Red face Timer motor

I removed the front panel and pulled out the timer motor. I'm assuming the motor is seized because the little white plastic knob thing doesn't turn at all. Does that sound logical?
