Red face Timer help
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: PAV2360Aww
Age: 5 - 10 years

I had a repair man out here and he said I needed a new timer. It would be 10 days before he got it. I purchased it from you and put in on. Something still is not right. The only time the washer performs the cycle the skirt is pointing to is if I apply pressure to the knob or shaft the knob would be on. The timer does continue to advance through the cycle but the machine will not fill, agitate, or rinse. The reason I called the repairman out in the first place was because once the machine got to the spin cycle on the regular setting the timer got stuck. If I moved it to delicate or permanent press the machine worked fine. There is nothing stuck between the new timer and the wall, I already checked. Could I have gotten a bad timer?
