Hi,

My mom regularly uses the suds saver feature on this trusty old washer.

Within the last week the suds saver stopped working.

Instead of "saving" the "used" water to the external laundry tub like it should, it drains the water.

Any ideas of what the problem could be?

How would I go about checking the valve?

Could I check it visually, or check it for free movement, perhaps?

(I'm rather a novice... obviously )

Just a heads up...

A new electric solenoid, for the suds saver valve, fixed the suds saver function.
I ordered the solenoid from PartSelect, of course.
