Default Stuck in cycle
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LA5550XTW0
Age: More than 10 years

My washer gets stuck in the drain cycle after each load. If I let it "rest" for a day or so it will run one more load then get stuck again. Any thoughts?

Do you mean at the end of the cycle the washer will continue to spin until you shut it off?

Here is a link to your washer model LA5550XTW0.

It sounds like the contact in the timer may be stuck together.

If you move the timer forward manually what happens?
