Default Starter Button Not Holding Contact
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: WCSE3100A1WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Good Morning... My washer's SWITCH START/STOP (BUTTON SWITC) #PS268476 appears to be losing it's ability to stay on. Need to know if this is usually the button itself or another part that may located directly behind. We have been pushing the button for weeks now and I am hoping we haven't done damage to more than just the button.

THX

On your washer there's an electronic control behind the button that is likely your problem.

Here is a link to your washer model WCSE3100A1WW.

The part that I think may be your problem is number 35 on the control and back splash.

It is called the control Assembly.
