Default Standing Water After Spin/mildew Smell

Model Number: WDSR2080D5WW
Age: 1 - 4 years

WASHER MACHINE COMPLETES CYCLES BUT LATELY THERE HAS BEEN STANDING WATER UNDER THE DRUM AND PUTS OFF A STRONG MILDEW SMELL... WE HAVE TAKEN OFF THE DRAIN HOSE NO CLOGS IN THE TUBE...WE DRAINED THE STANDING WATER OUT...WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING....THANKS

It is likely a build up of soap scum in the tub at the high water mark.

Remove the tub and clean.
